Who I Am
Hi! My name is Cameron Schneider, and I am a fourth-year Game Programming student at Champlain College, with a completed minor in Mathematics. Academically, I strive to push myself to very high standards of work quality (some may say too high, but hey, I get things done). I bring those same standards into everything I do, whether it be cooking, gaming, traveling, working, or learning. Throughout my experience here at Champlain, I've evolved into someone I didn't expect to be--an effective leader. I hadn't really been leadership material prior to the Champlain program, but now that I'm 4 years in, I've discovered that I tend to fall into lead roles during group projects almost effortlessly. I've even had the opportunity to be a lead programmer on 3 projects.
Outside of the professional world, I'm 110% a foodie. If I wasn't a programmer, I'd be a chef. Or maybe an astronomer? Or physicist? Who knows, because I also love the sciences dealing with space and really abstract concepts. I even read quantum physics articles in my spare time.
